Monitor and implement new health care services and performance improvement initiatives. Manage day‑to‑day operations of the unit or department, ensuring achievement of scorecard goals and objectives. Apply key financial concepts and analysis to decision making and develop actionable work plans with measurable outcomes. Assess and reallocate resources to meet demands, identify and implement cost‑containment initiatives. Coordinate resources to provide adequate staffing for the department and establish day‑to‑day priorities with task assignments. Facilitate team problem‑solving processes and hold staff accountable for maintaining high performance standards. Maintain collaborative relationships with physicians, management, allied health staff, patients, and vendors. Monitor and evaluate customer satisfaction and implement programs to enhance patient experience. Use project management principles to accomplish goals, anticipate change, and translate objectives into specific priorities. Communicate appropriately to stakeholders in a timely, accurate manner and establish open, honest communication forums. Lead unit processes and reporting procedures, revising as needed and inspiring enthusiasm for projects. Attract, select, develop, and retain qualified employees; facilitate professional growth and provide in‑service programming. Collaborate with Human Resources for growth, staffing, services, educational opportunities, and performance improvement. Ensure compliance with regulatory, licensure, and accrediting standards (e.g., The Joint Commission, CLIA, COLA, OSHA, AAAHC). Provide supervision and direction to department staff and may provide patient care when required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent experience required. 3 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferred. In some offices, an RN/BSN license may be required. Licenses & Certifications RN/BSN license if required by staffing model and grant specifications. Minimum Qualifications Excellent problem‑solving, interpersonal, communication, team leadership, priority setting, organizational, and work competency skills. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint). Ability to use electronic medical records.
