Details1 Internal Medicine physician needed for a geriatric outpatient continuity care at a senior care center in northern Cali, south of the Bay Area. This clinic exclusively serves patients 60+ and is part of an integrated FQHC system committed to optimizing senior care.Location: San Mateo, CAStart Date: late December/early JanuarySchedule: 4- 5 days per week, 8:30 AM 5:00 PMContract Length: 3 months with an option to extendPatient Volume: 14 per day. Patient Population: 100% Medical/Medicaid combined population. High need/high complexity. Complex language/many languages- diverse population. Lots of support staff that other FQHCs (RNs, other clinicians). Many of them are in their 80s/90s. Geriatrics needs to be a focus/serious interest. They are a public health FQHC facility. This is not a teaching facility. Requirements: BC/BE in Internal Medicine (Geriatric Board a plus but not required). 2 years recent exp.
