AOCC is an independent community-based adult rheumatology practice committed to transforming lives and revolutionizing patient care. About AOCC AOCC was founded in 2000. The clinic is comprised of 9 rheumatologists, 3 nurse practitioners and 1 physician assistant operating out of 2 clinic locations: one just south of uptown Charlotte, the other 14 miles away in south Charlotte. AOCC boasts state-of-the-art facilities equipped with the latest technology and diagnostic tools. From advanced imaging capabilities (US, DXA/ VFA / TBS, X-ray), in house phlebotomy, two infusion centers. AOCC also has a robust clinical trial program with over 26 active clinical trials, allowing us to offer cutting age treatment to our patients. Responsibilities See patients with active rheumatologic diseases and develop diagnosis and treatment plans. Collaborate with a diverse group of providers to advance patient care in a collegial environment. Engage with an independent practice that has strong relationships with major regional healthcare systems. Participate in or refer patients to in-house imaging, infusion centers, phlebotomy, and clinical trials as appropriate. Qualifications Board-certified or board-eligible Rheumatologist or advanced practice provider (APRN/PA) in rheumatology. Benefits Generous base salary with bonus opportunity. Medical and dental insurance. Eligible for 401K and profit sharing after 1 year. Four-and-a-half-day work week with no hospital coverage. Expected patient volume: 18 patients daily.
