We areseeking an experienced Locums Urology Physician to provide 24-hour hospital andemergency department call coverage in Salem, Virginia. This role involvesmanaging inpatient and ED consults, performing urgent urologic procedures asneeded, and responding promptly to call backs with a 20-minute response time.The ideal candidate will be board certified or board eligible, with activelicensure and strong urologic clinical skills. AssignmentDetails: Schedule: 24-hour callcoverage Patient Volume: Approximately28 patients per day Patient Population: Adults Call Response: 20 minutes EMR: Electroniccharting/dictation system (facility-provided) KeyResponsibilities: Provide 24-hour urology callcoverage, including inpatient and ED consults. Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a variety of acute and urgent urologic conditions. Perform urologic procedures and interventions as required. Collaborate with ED physicians, hospitalists, and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care. Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR system.
