Overview Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics in Kansas City is seeking a Pediatric Urologist to join a team that includes multiple pediatric urologists, nurse practitioners, and other pediatric urology professionals. The service serves a high volume of patients from Kansas, Missouri, and beyond. Applicants must be in, or have completed, training at an ABU accredited fellowship. Interest in any niche of practice is welcome, with a special emphasis on those with experience in Urologic Oncology & Reconstruction. Flexibility exists for developing other focuses. The urology service includes multispecialty efforts: Spinal Differences Clinic; Advanced Practitioner Nurse- run DUCK Clinic (Dysfunctional Urologic Conditions in Kids); GUIDE Clinic; and a Comprehensive Colorectal Clinic incorporating Bladder and Cloacal exstrophy. A monthly Nephrology/Radiology/Urology Conference is provided. Academic rank at the University of Missouri — Kansas City is commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. Position offers high surgical volume, excellent hospital support services, and camaraderie within the division of urology.
