Join Beach Day Adventure Management and spend your season working by the ocean, not behind a counter.Position SummaryThe Guest Experience Specialist is the frontline ambassador of Beach Day Adventure Management, delivering a smooth, friendly, and memorable experience for every guest. This role combines customer service, gear distribution, and safety focused communication. The ideal candidate is upbeat, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast paced coastal environment.Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Check In & Support - Greet guests, confirm reservations, answer questions, and guide them through the rental process.Gear Distribution - Fit guests with masks, snorkels, fins, and vests; ensure proper sizing and comfort.Safety Briefings - Provide short, clear safety overviews including ocean conditions, entry/exit points, and best practices.Beach Operations - Assist with setup, shade structures, gear racks, and maintaining a clean, organized rental area.Customer Issue Resolution - Handle concerns, swap gear, and ensure guests leave satisfied.Payment & POS - Process rentals, add ons, and merchandise purchases using the company's POS system.End of Day Duties - Rinse, sanitize, and restock gear; assist with closing checklists.Guest Interaction StandardsDeliver a warm, friendly, beach positive tone with every interaction.Maintain a professional, clean appearance consistent with Beach Day Adventure Management.Provide clear, confident guidance to first time snorkelers.Uphold a high standard of hospitality and guest care.Gear Handling & SanitationInspect all gear before and after use.Follow sanitation protocols for masks, snorkels, and vests.Identify damaged equipment and remove it from circulation.Keep gear racks organized and visually appealing.Safety & ComplianceMonitor surf conditions and communicate any safety advisories.Follow all Snorkel & Sea safety policies and emergency procedures.Ensure guests understand proper use of equipment.Report incidents or hazards to management immediately.QualificationsPrior customer service or hospitality experience preferred.Comfortable working outdoors in sun, sand, and ocean environments.Strong communication and people skills.Ability to lift 30-40 lbs (gear bins, shade structures, etc.).Physical RequirementsStanding for extended periods.Light to moderate lifting.Working in warm weather and beach conditions.Occasional walking on uneven surfaces.
