This role focuses on the installation, adjustment, and troubleshooting of automatic door systems, ensuring they operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with ADA and ANSI standards.The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering clean, professional installations.ResponsibilitiesInstall and service low energy automatic door operators (pull-side and push-side applications)Mount operators, arms, and related hardware to doors and framesInstall and configure activation devices, including push plates and wave-to-open sensorsRun and terminate low-voltage wiring for activation and safety devicesRun and terminate low-voltage wiring for access control integrationsCoordinate and connect to available 120VAC power at operator locationsAdjust and program operators (opening speed, closing force, hold-open time, etc.)Ensure installations meet ADA and ANSI A156.19 requirementsPerform system testing to confirm safe and proper operationTroubleshoot and repair existing operator systems in the fieldMaintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Complete accurate and timely service documentation, including work performed, warranty claims, invoicing details, and all required project records. Maintain clear communication with internal teams regarding job status, progress, and any issues requiring attention to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.This position focuses on the installation and service of low-energy automatic door operators, with additional support provided for access control systems and other project-related work as required.
