Job Description & Requirements Interim Nurse Manager, Operating Room (Cardiac Surgery) – Start Date: ASAP. Pay Rate: $170,000 – $175,000 annually. Sign‑on bonus: $7,500 . Responsibility Overview The role of Interim Nurse Manager oversees cardiac surgical services ensuring high‑quality patient care in a hospital setting. Reports to the Director of Nursing. Manage transplant operations and staff recruitment & retention. Deliver patient‑centered care, maintain a high‑acuity environment. Supervise and support operating room personnel and coordinate care teams. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. Qualifications BSN required; Master’s degree preferred. Active NY RN required or willingness to apply. Cardiac Surgery and/or heart and lung transplant experience required. Minimum 6 years nursing experience, with at least 2 years in an OR leadership position. Prior cardiac OR or transplant experience highly preferred. Compensation Base: $170,000 – $175,000 annually, contingent on experience, education, and other factors. Sign‑on bonus: $7,500.
