Mental Health Therapist / Behavioral Health Team Lead Type: Credentialed Position Overview We are hiring for a Licensed Clinical Professional or Clinical Professional in mental/behavioral health services. The role involves treating a range of behavioral health issues, coordinating care with internal resources (psychiatry, community support) and external bodies (legal system, families, social agencies). Responsibilities Provide therapeutic services including assessments, crisis intervention, individual and group therapy to adults and children/adolescents. Serve individuals with diverse mental health and substance use diagnoses. Facilitate relationships and act as a link between the company, parents/guardians, local agencies and the community. Support individuals with connections to services and referrals for holistic treatment. Collaborate with other clinical/professional staff to maintain communication, provide feedback, standardize procedures and expedite treatment implementation. Physical Demands and Work Environment Regularly lift and carry up to 15 lbs.; occasionally pull at least 10 lbs. Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop as part of regular duties. Use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, or controls. Required to stand and walk for extended periods. Demonstrate proficiency in CPR from floor level. Must be able to talk and hear; exceptions: Deaf and Hard of Hearing programs require fluent ASL. Ability to meet physical requirements of performing therapeutic holds. Position Requirements Graduate degree in Counseling or a related field. Valid licensure to provide mental/behavioral healthcare (LCMHC, LCSW, etc.). General working knowledge of the human services delivery system. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Ability to perform computer tasks including Microsoft 365, Excel, Word, and other basic programs. Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and vehicle if required for transportation. Successful completion of pre‑employment screening (criminal background check, drug testing, education verification, credentialing, employment history references).
