Registered Nurse (RN), Director Job Type: Full-Time | Days Shift: Monday-Friday; 8-hour shifts; No Weekends How you'll contribute Perform essential functions as required. Develop and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization. Direct and evaluate departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technology, service level determination, and complaint management to achieve performance and quality control objectives. Plan and monitor staffing activities, including hiring, orientation, evaluation, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives. Monitor and evaluate departmental budgets, ensuring compliance with allocated funding. Coordinate and direct internal/external audits. Create and foster an environment that encourages professional growth. Integrate evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols. Maintain regular and reliable attendance. What we're looking for Applicants must have a current Tennessee or compact state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire. Required skills: Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision, work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Licenses: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse with the State of Tennessee or a licensed Registered Nurse from a Compact State with the proper Tennessee paperwork filed within 30 days of hire.
