Description: Job Summary:The HR Generalist is a multifaceted role responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment, employee relations matters, benefits administration, and a broad range of core HR functions. This person will attract and hire top talent, support employees through workplace concerns, assist with open enrollment, and help ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations. This role is ideal for an HR professional who is people-focused, adaptable, and thrives in a generalist environment where no two days look the same.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruiting & Talent AcquisitionManage full-cycle recruitment from job intake, sourcing, and screening through offer negotiation and acceptancePartner with hiring managers to define candidate profiles, and set hiring timelinesSource candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, employee referrals, networking, and direct outreachConduct phone and video screens to assess qualifications, experience, and culture fitCoordinate interviews, maintain ATS records, and ensure timely communication with candidates at every stageExtend offers, manage pre-employment steps (background checks, references), and support onboarding handoff to corporateBuild talent pipelines for recurring or hard-to-fill rolesRepresent the company at job fairs and networking eventsEmployee RelationsServe as a trusted point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and workplace conflicts; work in conjunction with corporate officeConduct impartial investigations into matters such as harassment, misconduct, discrimination, and policy violationsAdvise managers on performance management, corrective action, documentation, and coaching best practicesInterpret and apply company policies and employment law to ensure consistent, compliant decision-makingComplete detailed records of all employee relations cases and investigations; sent to corporate for recordkeepingSupport termination processes by ensuring proper documentation and legal complianceAssist with developing and delivering workplace training on topics such as anti-harassment and conflict resolutionPartner with Legal and HR leadership when matters escalate or carry litigation riskBenefits & Open EnrollmentServe as a primary point of contact for employee benefits questions related to health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plansAssist in planning and executing the annual open enrollment process including communications, employee education sessions, and deadline managementPartner with benefit manager, brokers, and vendors to ensure accurate enrollment, changes, and terminations are processed timely; will work with corporate hand in handAssist with maintaining benefits compliance with ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and other applicable regulationsGeneral HR OperationsAssist with onboarding and off boarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience at every stageHelp prepare plant HR reports and people metrics for leadership reviewAssist with performance review cycles, compensation planning, and other annual HR processesStay current on employment law changes and HR best practices to ensure organizational complianceProvide general administrative HR support and serve as a resource for employees and managers across the organizationQualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field3-5 years of broad HR experience with exposure to recruiting, employee relations, and benefits administrationStrong knowledge of employment law (FMLA, ADA, Title VII, FLSA, ACA, COBRA, etc.)Experience conducting workplace investigationsProficiency with HRIS and ATS platforms (Workday, BambooHR, Greenhouse, Lever, etc.) and LinkedIn RecruiterExceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentHigh level of discretion, empathy, and objectivity when handling sensitive matters Requirements: What we offerMedical coverage with BCBS.Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability and Group Life Insurance with Mutual of Omaha.As a benefit to our employees, we also offer supplemental policies with Aflac and Legal/ID Shield.
