Position Overview - 16-week contract Case Mix: General , ENT , Eye , OB/GYN , Robotics , Ortho , Vascular , Endo , Uro . 60 days – 8‑hour shifts available. No call. Lodging: $124/day. Car rental: $250/week. $10K Completion Bonus (added 7/2/25). # OR rooms: 30 CRNA to MD ratio: 4:1 MDs possibly doing own cases Charting system: Epic Anesthesiologist - RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the anesthesia department. Responsible for the medical management of patients rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain during surgery and other medical procedures. Pre‑anesthesia assessment. Obtain and/or verify patient consent. Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient. Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Monitor the patient’s physiological condition. Perform clinical intervention as needed. Anesthesiologist - REQUIREMENTS Current license to practice medicine in the state of North Carolina. Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology. Currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), or equivalent. Minimum of two years of recent experience; 3‑5 years preferred.
