Overview The Medical Director will provide clinical oversight of Campbellsville University’s pre‑hospital EMS educational programs under nominal direction. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and revise policies and protocols of pre‑hospital care for EMT, EMT‑A, and Paramedic educational programs. Monitor quality assurance and assist with curriculum development. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing guidance on medical issues that affect student learning and program quality in relation to the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services, the National Registry, and the Committee on Accreditation of the EMS Profession. Evaluate paramedic students during the capstone experience for competency aligned with accreditation standards. Approve program completion and eligibility for the National Registry of paramedic students. Collaborate with EMS stakeholders for continuous quality improvement of educational programs. Uphold Campbellsville University’s mission, vision, values, core skills, and learning outcomes in all activities. Report directly to the Director of Allied Health. Participate on the department’s EMS Program Advisory Board. Requirements Must be a current, licensed Physician in the state of Kentucky. Must be authorized to practice in the location of the program. Previous teaching experience preferred but not required. Expertise in EMS and hospital emergency medicine preferred. Hospital privileges for observation of students on clinical rotations preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
