Position Summary The Research Fellow will participate in advanced research under the mentorship of senior faculty within the Valley GME program. This non‑ACGME‑accredited fellowship provides rigorous training in clinical, translational, and/or basic science research methods relevant to a specific therapeutic area. The fellow will contribute to ongoing research studies, develop independent projects, and gain experience in study design, data analysis, abstract and manuscript preparation, professional presentation at national and international‑level cardiovascular conferences, and grant development. Responsibilities Participate in advanced cardiovascular research studies under senior faculty mentorship. Contribute to ongoing research projects and design independent studies. Develop expertise in study design, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and scientific presentation. Engage in grant development and project proposal writing. Qualifications MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree required. Demonstrated interest in cardiovascular research. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Skills/Experience Prior research experience and publication record in cardiovascular or related biomedical fields. Knowledge of creating, querying, and maintaining research databases (e.g., Access, REDCap). Experience with standard statistical software packages.
