The position includes outpatient visits, coordination with on site laboratory services, and participation in a structured weekday schedule using an industry standard EMR.QUALIFICATIONS• Graduate of a nurse practitioner program• Licensed or eligible for licensure in New Mexico as a nurse practitioner• Eligibility for prescriptive authority and controlled substance registration in New Mexico• Experience or interest in medical weight management care• Strong communication and teamwork skillsCOMPETENCIES• Ability to manage patients undergoing medical weight management treatment• Skill in postoperative follow up for bariatric procedures• Proficiency with outpatient clinical workflows• Effective collaboration with physicians, APPs, and support staff• Capacity to assist in procedural care when requiredWORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENTWork Environment: Clinic/Private Practice; Outpatient• Multidisciplinary bariatric care team including physicians, APPs, and support staff• Outpatient clinic operations with weekday scheduling• On site laboratory resources• Use of industry standard EMR systems• Coordination of medical weight management and postoperative care
