Position Summary Reporting directly to the Senior Clinical Nurse Director, the Nurse Director provides oversight of professional nursing practice and collaborates with the interdisciplinary health‑care team to ensure effective coordination of patient care. This is achieved through the development, implementation, and maintenance of patient‑care standards and clinical practice guidelines, ensuring optimal outcomes, identifying variances, and implementing improvement initiatives. The role includes quality review processes aligned with performance plans, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards. Job Requirements Education: BSN required, Master’s degree preferred. Licenses: Registered Nurse, licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Experience: Minimum 5 years of nursing experience; at least 1 year recent clinical experience in the assigned specialty. Knowledge & Skills: Broad-based health‑care operational experience; knowledge of health systems and cost‑reduction strategies; effective verbal and written communication; self‑directed leadership; application of adult learning principles; analytical problem‑solving; quality improvement and research projects; organizational prioritization; physical ability to meet core responsibilities; stress management; multilingual skills desirable.
