Responsibilities Practice current principles and practices of anesthesiology. Maintain effective working relationships with supervising anesthesiologists. Communicate and cooperate to staff the anesthesia department appropriately. Provide sound practices and safe therapeutic care. Promote safe working conditions for patients and self. Show initiative for self‑development. Assume responsibility for tasks not explicitly delineated in the job description. Schedule Day shift schedule: 6‑week rotation (3 weeks of 10‑hour shifts, 3 weeks of 12‑hour shifts). One weekend per 6‑week rotation, with full week off prior to the weekend shift (does not count as vacation). Rotate 1st, 2nd, and 3rd call on weekend (7a‑7p). Home call: 6–8 additional weeks off as vacation of your choosing. Possible opportunity for 10 additional weekday shifts per 6‑week rotation for extra income.
