The candidate must be trained as a neurosurgeon and must be either board certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and have completed a Neuro‑Oncology Fellowship. Upstate University Hospital is a Level 1 trauma center with a Comprehensive Stroke Program, Neuro ICU, and the Upstate Neurological Institute. The position includes an academic appointment with Upstate Medical University and the College of Medicine. Minimum Qualifications ABNS BC/BE in Neurosurgery. Fellowship trained as a Neuro‑Oncology Neurosurgeon. Preferred Qualifications Fellowship trained in Neuro‑Oncology Neurosurgery. Work Days Monday – Friday plus on‑call responsibilities.
