This role partners closely with Production, Purchasing, and Operations, helping translate financial data into actionable insight while supporting month-end close and compliance requirements.This position is based onsite in Maple Grove to support our manufacturing operations and gain firsthand exposure to the production environment.Key Areas of Responsibility:Will include, but not limited to the following:Perform inventory, production cost, and cost-of-sales accounting activitiesPrepare and analyze financial statements as part of monthly, quarterly, and annual closeTrack and analyze cost variances, freight, duties, and taxes; identify improvement opportunitiesCalculate standard costs, labor recovery rates, and other manufacturing-related cost metricsMonitor capital expenditures and support periodic fixed asset auditsMaintain accurate general ledger records and perform account reconciliationsSupport internal and external audit requests, including analysis and documentationAssist with tax reporting schedules and statutory requirementsCollaborate cross-functionally with Purchasing, Production, Warehousing, Logistics, and other sitesFunctional CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHighly organized and able to manage multiple prioritiesComfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative teamEffective written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organizationAbility to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretionWorking Environment/Physical RequirementsOnsite role supporting a production/manufacturing environmentExtended periods of computer use with occasional walking and standingAbility to work within production areas to understand the assembly and manufacturing processHow We Take Care of Our TeamCulture SpiritWe believe in working as a team and supporting one another.
