As the Director of Key Account Management, you will lead a talented team of eight Key Account Managers. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our Uro-Oncology portfolio and at the same time, foster the development of your team. This role requires residence near a major airport, as travel is essential to fulfilling your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Attract and retain top talent for the Uro-Oncology Key Account Management team. Coach and develop KAMs to meet high-performance standards and align with business objectives. Translate product strategies into actionable plans and ensure their implementation to achieve financial goals. Provide leadership and vision for all personnel in your area, ensuring open communication on key market trends and opportunities. Collaborate with healthcare systems, private equity firms, and large community Urology Groups to strengthen our market presence. Establish sustainable relationships with key customers, enhancing engagement across stakeholders. Take accountability for all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and their execution in your territory. Requirements Minimum of 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech leadership roles. Proven track record in developing and leading successful teams. At least 2 years of experience in Oncology and/or Urology is strongly preferred; Bladder Cancer experience is a plus. Experience with complex account management essential for success. Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement from both patient and provider perspectives. Ability to establish effective relationships built on mutual respect and trust. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and creating solutions in dynamic environments. Outstanding presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively. Regional and national payer knowledge specific to your assigned area. Organizational and communication skills to facilitate collaborations between departments. In-depth understanding of patient privacy laws, including HIPAA. Working knowledge of compliance requirements under OIG regulations. A valid driver's license is required as this role involves travel (40-80%). Location is flexible; however, candidates must live within 50 miles of a major airport. Education: BS/BA required; MBA preferred. Ferring + You At Ferring, we offer a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary, determined within a range of $185,000 to $271,000 based on experience and skills. You will also receive additional compensation through sales commissions based on performance.
