Job Overview: We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Senior Team Lead to lead our team and keep the magic flowing. The ideal candidate will excel at creating a warm, inclusive environment for both customers and staff while maintaining smooth daily operations. Key Responsibilities: Leadership: Inspire and guide a team of employees, fostering a supportive and collaborative workspace. Customer Experience: Provide consistent, world-class service to every customer while upholding Lu & Aug's welcoming, family-friendly vibe. Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, including opening/closing duties, cash handling, and inventory management. Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure smooth operations and appropriate coverage. Inventory Management: Track, order, and maintain inventory to keep popular items stocked and minimize waste. Staff Supervision: Provide clear direction, oversee performance, and support employee growth through coaching and feedback. Staff Development: Train, mentor, and support team members to build their skills and confidence. Creative Collaboration: Help implement seasonal promotions, limited-edition offerings, and fun in-store events. Community Engagement: Support our local partnerships and maintain our strong neighborhood presence. Commitment to Well-being: Promote a positive and safe environment for the team, community, and surroundings. Shift Leadership: Lead and support a team of ambassadors, ensuring they uphold high standards and feel encouraged throughout their shift. Required Skills and Experience: At least two years of experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail, restaurant, or hospitality. A strong work ethic and a desire to learn new skills. Natural leadership abilities with a positive, encouraging approach to team support. A self-starter mindset with the ability to stay focused and proactive. Consistently maintains a professional appearance and demeanor. Excellent communication skills to engage with both customers and team members. A team-player attitude, always willing to jump in and help where needed. Comfortable using a point-of-sale system for transactions and order management. Availability to work weekends and late nights (past 11 p.m.) as needed. Dependable, on time, and always ready to hustle during busy shifts. A commitment to supporting the well-being of the team, the local community, and the environment. A passion for community, with an eye for detail and the stamina to thrive in a fast-paced environment - especially during long lines and busy rushes. Willingness to clean frequently to maintain a spotless and welcoming shop. The ability to stay calm and resourceful when unexpected challenges arise.
