Location: 46 Fairview Ave, Skowhegan, ME, 04976, United States Job Title OB/GYN Physician On Call Only Job Summary Redington Fairview General Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate OB/GYN physician to provide on-call coverage for Redington OB/GYN. This position is responsible for responding to urgent patient needs, labor and delivery coverage, and emergency gynecologic care when scheduled on call. The physician will work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Provide on-call OB/GYN coverage during assigned shifts Respond to calls from the emergency department and labor & delivery unit Evaluate and manage laboring patients, pregnancy complications, and gynecologic emergencies Perform vaginal deliveries and Cesarean sections as required Provide consultations hospital-wide for OB/GYN cases Document patient care in the electronic medical record system (Meditech) Collaborate with hospital staff to maintain safe and effective patient care Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification Experience Prior hospital-based OB/GYN experience preferred Ability to manage obstetric and emergency gynecologic cases Competitive on-call shift pay Flexible scheduling options About Redington-Fairview General Hospital Redington-Fairview General Hospital is a progressive, independent healthcare organization dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
