How you'll contribute Directs the department's activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives for Pre-OP, PACU, OR, Cath Lab and IVT. Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization. Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives. Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives. Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits. Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth. Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols. What we're looking for Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include: BCLS, ACLS, PALS required ACLS, PALS preferred BSN required Valley View Medical Center is a 102,000-square-foot acute-care facility with two adjacent medical office buildings offering exceptional care to the community. We have 52 medical/surgical beds, 12 acute rehabilitation beds, 12 intensive care beds, an 8 bed labor, delivery and post-partum unit, 16 Bed Emergency Department and Valley View Medical Center is the only all private bed hospital serving the Bullhead City/Laughlin/Needles area.
