Job Title: Medical Science Liaison – Dermatology Dupilumab (Los Angeles, CA) As the MSL, you will serve as a trusted scientific partner to external experts and decision‑makers, engaging in scientific exchanges to accelerate data dissemination and support Sanofi’s medical strategy for Dupilumab. Responsibilities Engage external stakeholders via one‑on‑one and group interactions to exchange medical and scientific information. Use strong knowledge of diseases, protocols, and competitors to articulate product value to key opinion leaders and other stakeholders. Establish and nurture long‑term relationships with key external experts. Advance stakeholders’ understanding of disease by sharing approved information within regulatory guidelines. Understand healthcare policies and guidelines at all levels. Map, profile, and prioritize stakeholders to identify collaboration opportunities. Utilize the Scientific Engagement Model to plan territory and engagement strategy per the Field Base Medical Activity Plan. Represent Sanofi at scientific congresses, symposia, and advisory boards, ensuring compliance. Support speaker training and scientific support in the field. Respond to unsolicited medical information requests with evidence‑based responses. Gather and generate insights from stakeholder interactions and report findings to the organization. Collect and analyze data from multiple sources to develop key insights and support messaging, strategy, and product development. Maintain awareness of emerging evidence to enhance stakeholder discussions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Commercial Operations, Business Development, Regulatory) to facilitate diligence, positioning, lifecycle planning, and compliance. Contribute to the creation of internal and external materials following Sanofi policies. Support evidence‑generation activities and identify data collection opportunities. Monitor disease epidemiology and support studies such as long‑term surveillance and effectiveness studies. Maintain a stakeholder database and manage day‑to‑day interactions in line with the medical strategy. Execute KOL territory strategy and develop engagement plans aligned with company objectives. Scope of Role / Outputs Manage a base of 50 stakeholders and maintain an engagement tracking database. Plan and execute day‑to‑day interactions according to the medical strategy. Report to Medical Affairs and comply with US level reporting requirements. Execute KOL territory strategy aligned with company objectives. Basic Qualifications Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) in a technical, scientific, or medical field. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a background check. Previous pharmaceutical industry experience preferred. Clear understanding of medical practice and healthcare systems. Ability to interpret scientific data and translate it to meet educational needs. Experience with research study design and execution. Exemplary communication and presentation skills. Experience managing multiple projects and working on multidisciplinary teams. Skills and Knowledge Active listening and diplomacy skills for confident communication. Professional communication to cultivate strong relationships with internal and external colleagues.
