Position Summary BMC seeks a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Surgeon to join our growing surgical team at BMC Brighton. This is an opportunity to practice in a community-focused setting while being part of a large, integrated academic health system. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered surgical care across a broad range of general surgery procedures, with opportunities to develop subspecialty interests. Key Responsibilities Perform a wide range of general surgical procedures, including elective and urgent cases. Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical care. Participate in shared call coverage including ACS. Contribute to the educational needs of the surgical residency. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the health system. Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Contribute to program growth and service line development. Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery. Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
