Interpret and distill complex medical information from journal articles and clinical study reports. Write, edit, and rewrite medical content, ensuring scientific accuracy and marketing relevance. Collaborate with account services and editorial teams to develop impactful materials. Coach, manage, and mentor junior science staff. Manage and adhere to internal processes, providing guidance and recommendations. Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders. Participate in new business opportunities. Liaise with clients, fulfill requests, and participate in client meetings and teleconferences. Develop and maintain strong client relationships at all levels. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the therapeutic market and share relevant insights. Participate in the development of creative and innovative programs grounded in science. Ensure high‑quality agency output, rejecting materials that don’t meet standards. Manage and direct freelance writers as needed. What You’ll Need Advanced degree in biomedical sciences (MD, PhD). Four or more years of experience at a medical communications agency. Experience in multiple therapeutic areas. Experience managing multiple teams and client accounts. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, internet search, and PubMed.
