Position Summary Department: 01120 GCMG One Health: Mocksville - Family Medicine Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 36 Schedule: Rotating 12‑hour shift (7a.m. – 7p.m.) with every other weekend Sign‑on Bonus: Eligible (based on eligibility) Pay Range: $24.10 – $36.15 Essential Functions Demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide or arrange appropriate patient care within nursing scope. Document all patient interactions accurately in the medical record. Perform telephone triage, gathering clinical data and providing instructions per protocols or provider orders. Track and log ordered laboratory and diagnostic tests; ensure provider receives results. Assist in pre‑visit planning with provider and care team. Administer medications, including injections. Check vital signs, height, and weight. Review medication history and update medication list. Assist with health‑maintenance requirements as needed. Assist providers during procedures and examinations and perform instrument and room clean‑up. Use standard precautions and comply with OSHA, CLIA, TJC, DFS, and other regulatory standards. Report patient’s condition and reaction to provider after procedures, medications, or treatments. Assist with prescription refills, appointment scheduling, and referral authorization. Participate in electronic documentation of care under provider direction. Enter orders in EMR (CPOE) per provider order. Complete CLIA‑approved waived laboratory tests and practice‑specific diagnostics, including point‑of‑care Hemoglobin A1C. Perform quality control and maintenance for point‑of‑care in‑office lab procedures. Perform venipuncture and assist with specimen collection (urine, blood, etc.). Complete lab requisitions and prepare specimens for pickup. Provide discharge summary and review to patients at the end of the visit. Manage vaccine and pharmaceutical orders, ensuring compliance with NCIR and SC DHEC regulations and monitoring inventory. Physical Requirements Walk, stand, sit, lift, reach, bend, stoop, push, pull consistently. Lift and support up to 35pounds. Potential exposure to communicable diseases. Speak, read, and write English fluently. Intact vision, hearing, smell, and touch with manual finger dexterity. Education, Experience & Certifications Licensed Practical Nurse with current license in the applicable state. Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
