Responsibilities Provide competent direct patient care based on established standards under the direction of leadership. Contribute to unit activities and support enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Support peers in the delivery of patient care services and may assume expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member as needed. Deliver telephone triage, medication and vaccine administration, minor laboratory testing, patient teaching, and health education. Supervise LPNs and Ambulatory Techs as assigned. Work Monday through Friday, no holidays. Qualifications One to two years of experience in direct nursing care is required. Strong assessment and communication skills with the ability to work independently are essential. Experience working with a multidisciplinary team including LPNs, ambulatory techs, physicians, and APPs is preferred. Experience in an outpatient internal medicine setting is desirable. Compensation Compensation Range: $37.12 – $50.11 per hour.
