THE WORK The Test Site Lab Management Team is seeking a Project Specialist Sr/Lab Lead to support System Security Engineering (SSE), Development and Test in the Moorestown, NJ Test Sites and Labs. The role will provide hands‑on support for the SSE Engineering Team’s efforts in their testbeds and environments in the NSCC family of Labs, and at CSEDS when needed. Work with Sites & ACI teams to define / design parts lists and drawings based on SSE development equipment (racks, STE laptops, servers, and related systems) requirements. Work with Sites team to ensure the correct SSE development equipment is ordered, space is identified, racks are built and installed appropriately, and that equipment is available to Platform Management Firmware (PMF) team on schedule. Provision PMF Development equipment / modules. Perform sanitization of PMF modules. Interface with Site Engineering in the Lab space planning phases to assist with hardware characterization (space, power and cooling). Provision development modules with most current CM version of PMF. Troubleshoot issues with SSE development modules. Troubleshoot SSE development cabinet issues. Assist with coordinating equipment installation and general Laboratory Activation topics. Support Test Operations Staff with Lab/System configurations and setup verification. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of professional/technical experience, or equivalent experience/combined education. Information Technology, Hardware Engineering, Technical or similar background. Experience working on a Hardware/Software Engineering and/or Hardware Support Team. Experience with Project Management. Familiarity with TI16 Mod0 and Mod1 system architecture, and all areas of the AEGIS Computing Infrastructure. Experience with MS Office and Visio. Able to independently determine and develop approach to solutions. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. Desired Skills Experience working with the AEGIS Weapon System, and an understanding of the AWS Combat System Elements and their relationship to the various integrated ship configurations. Understanding of GFE Management, and Moorestown Lab processes. Familiar with the use of Electronic Test Equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Network Cable Testers, DMM’s and RF Network Analyzers. Familiar with creating labor plans and CBOM inputs for lab activation and equipment build‑up efforts. Familiar with Red Hat Linux Operating System and basic scripting. Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret Schedule 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Pay and Benefits The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765.
