Position Summary Assistant Professor of Radiochemistry, Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, UNLV. Tenure‑track position expected to teach, conduct research, serve the university and community, and mentor students. Responsibilities Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in radiochemistry and related areas. Develop a vigorous externally‑funded research program in radiochemistry (e.g., radioanalytical, separations, forensics, radiopharmaceuticals, synthesis, or related fields). Engage in service to the university and community. Mentor undergraduate and graduate students through laboratory work and direct supervision. Contribute to the development and delivery of the undergraduate radiochemistry curriculum. Utilize and help maintain the university’s radiochemistry laboratory equipment and facilities. Provide scientific and programmatic leadership in research initiatives and build collaborations, networks, and partnerships. Qualifications Ph.D. in Radiochemistry or a closely related discipline (e.g., Nuclear Engineering, Inorganic Chemistry, Forensic Science, Health Physics). Proven record of research accomplishments and a strong track record of external funding. Preferred Qualifications Postdoctoral research training or equivalent research/industrial experience.
