Adjunct Agricultural Sciences/Agribusiness Professor (Workforce Pathway) The salary for this position is $700 per credit hour. Responsibilities Teaches no more than 9 credit hours per semester (75% of time). Works as a team member in the Sciences Department and complies with all faculty responsibilities per college policies (10%). Contributes to campus assessment by measuring and reporting student learning outcomes to meet THECB Core Objectives and SACSCOC requirements (10%). Performs other duties as assigned by the Dean, Associate Dean or Department Chair (5%). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Agricultural Sciences from an accredited college or university, OR Associate’s Degree with at least 3 years of experience in the field of Agricultural Sciences. Previous successful experience teaching in Agricultural Science at the community college level or high school; professional experience may be held as equivalent. Demonstrated ability to engage students in the learning process and proven commitment to student success. Collegial attitude with college community and outside entities. Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple assignments. Experience tracking student learning outcomes, analyzing resultant data, and implementing improvement plans. Excellent computer and multimedia skills. Security‑sensitive position requiring criminal background check.
