Responsibilities The Nurse Practitioner, Cardiology applies advanced education and clinical competencies within the cardiology specialty to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The Practitioner works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial, including the diagnosis and treatment of acute cardiac conditions, prescription of medication, examination of patients, diagnosis of illnesses, and provision of treatment. The Nurse Practitioner also advises executives on functional strategies, exercises independent judgment on complex issues, and works under minimal supervision. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree 8 or more years of technical experience 2 or more years of working as a Nurse Practitioner in a cardiovascular practice Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the appropriate state Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences Must be willing to participate in limited on-call coverage by phone Preferred Qualifications Masters in Science of Nursing / PA Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $115,200 - $158,400 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
