Gastroenterology Hospitalist (MD/DO) Position Summary The Gastroenterology Hospitalist provides inpatient-focused care for patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions. This role emphasizes hospital-based consultation, inpatient management, and procedural care while collaborating closely with hospitalists, surgeons, intensivists, and other specialists to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient care. Key Responsibilities Provide inpatient gastroenterology consultations and ongoing management for hospitalized patients Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and complex gastrointestinal conditions, including GI bleeding, liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatitis, and biliary disorders Perform inpatient diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures as indicated Manage pre- and post-procedure care, including #J-18808-Ljbffr
