Overview Join the Cardiology Service at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital in Northeast Ohio. We are expanding our 4‑doctor, 1‑resident Cardiology Service and are seeking a Board‑Certified or Residency‑Trained Cardiologist to join our dynamic, collaborative team. Responsibilities Perform interventional procedures including pacemaker implantation, balloon valvuloplasty, and patent ductus arteriosus occlusions with fluoroscopic and TEE guidance. Collaborate daily with the emergency service and specialists in Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, and Exotics. Participate in service and hospital‑wide rounds, joint rounds with other cardiologists, collaborative case discussions, and teaching opportunities for interns, residents, veterinary students, and local veterinarians. Maintain a supportive, team‑oriented environment that values collegiality and mentorship. Qualifications Board‑Certified or Residency‑Trained Cardiologist (ACVIM Boarded). Experience performing interventional cardiology procedures (pacemaker implantation, balloon valvuloplasty, PDA occlusion). Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide teaching to interns, residents, veterinary students, and local veterinarians.
