Position Overview The Department of Neurology at the University of Minnesota and UMPhysicians is recruiting a full‑time neurologist for MHealth Fairview (University of Minnesota Physicians/Fairview Health Services Partnership). This role focuses on neuromuscular medicine with a strong academic emphasis and will lead clinical and translational research within an established program. Responsibilities Provide outpatient neuromuscular services at the University campus and community clinics. Run disease‑state focused clinics, multidisciplinary clinics, and a general neuromuscular clinic. Perform EMG studies and supervise a limited inpatient call schedule. Supervise and train medical students, residents, and fellows. Collaborate with basic scientists at the University of Minnesota on translational research. Lead clinical research and trials in neuromuscular medicine. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Neurology residency training program. Board Certified or Board Prepared in Neuromuscular Medicine (American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association ABMS). Licensed or able to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice licensure. Qualified to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota. Meet threshold criteria for Credentialing and Privileges at the University of Minnesota. Excellent teaching and interpersonal skills. Note: Not eligible for applicants requiring a J1 visa waiver. Pay & Benefits Base salary: $218,757 – $344,326 (cFTE), market competitive and based on AAMC benchmarks. Clinical salary aligned with clinical effort, through M Physicians. University salary depends on academic effort of the hire. Substantial 401(k) employer contribution.
