About the Clinician's Workday The interventional cardiologist will provide comprehensive 24-hour STEMI call coverage for emergency cardiac interventions requiring immediate response capabilities. Clinical duties include managing 12 patients per day in the clinic setting and responding to calls from the facility for reading echos, stress tests, ECGs and providing consults on all inpatients and emergency department patients requiring cardiac consultation. The clinician must be available during shifts to respond to facility calls in a timely manner per medical staff guidelines.
