Interim Director of Nursing - Full-Time/Part-Time North Shore Health Support Center Join the North Shore Healthcare team as an Interim Director of Nursing. This full‑time position is a key leadership role that supports facilities in the absence of a permanent Director of Nursing. The role allows a nurse leader to share knowledge and support a team while permanent leadership transitions. The Interim Director of Nursing travels as needed within an assigned territory. Summary of Position The Director of Nursing – Float is responsible for filling in as the interim Director of Nursing in one of the North Shore HealthCare family of facilities as needed. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, directing, supervising and evaluating all nursing services in the center. The role ensures nursing department compliance with federal, state and local regulations and implementation of center nursing core programs. The position maintains records and reports concerning resident care, oversees orientation and training of nursing personnel, manages the nursing department within budget, and follows all center policies and procedures.
