Commerical Painter, Foreman Job Responsibilities Painting: Participate as an active painter during the job when needed to keep the project on trackDevelop and maintain positive relationships with site SupersMake sure equipment and materials are on-site ahead of time and returned after useCalculate production rates and estimated materials needed (i.e. lifts, gallons of paint)Proactively communicate with Ops Managers on project status on a daily basiaFollow protocol to bill customers for extra work completed outside of original project scopeAssign and hold painters accountable for completing certain sections of the jobTrain painters on unfamiliar or advanced painting techniquesVerify crew are trained on lifts, spray machines, ladders and scaffolds before useEnsure crew follows all incident reporting protocolConduct weekly Toolbox TalksGive crew regular feedback on their job performance.Partner with HR to ensure crew attendance, appearance, and behavior is always professional MISC: Adhere to all OSHA standardsOther duties as assignedReturn phone calls/emails within 24 hoursWillingness to use technology to communicate and track work Qualifications 3 or more years of experience in a painter/lead painter roleA strong focus on safety, quality, and customer serviceComfortability with managing multiple priorities and adapting when necessaryAbility to read blueprints and perform basic calculationsAdvanced knowledge of painting techniquesPossess an OSHA10 card and be willing to obtain OSHA30 cardValid driver's licenseHS Diploma or GEDAbility to read, write, and speak EnglishAuthorized to work in the U.S.Punctual and consistent work attendancePositive attitude and willingness to learnAbility to communicate professionally; follow instructions and provide instructionAbility to lift and maneuver heavy equipment; stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods of timeCompensation details: 27-30 Hourly WagePI8eb1c9ee270a-7888
