Customer Service Assistant Summary Position is required to assist patrons with their customer service needs while attending a public or private event. Essential duties and responsibilities include assisting patrons with seating or other information as needed, maintaining position on post, viewing area of responsibility, overseeing assigned area for spills or situations requiring staff attention, operating handicap lift with wheelchair containing patron if applicable, receiving and acting on complaints from patrons according to established policies and procedures, and performing other related duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. One-year prior experience in a customer service position preferred. Must be able to communicate clearly, have a friendly disposition, and a smile! Candidates must be able to stay calm in the stressful and fast-paced environment of an arena. Experience in handling conflict in a friendly and effective manner is preferred.
