Job Description & Requirements Heart Failure Physician – StartDate: ASAP – Pay Rate: $450,000.00 – $550,000.00 Practice Overview Nationally recognized Heart Failure & Transplant program based in New Orleans, LA. The hospital has been providing ventricular assist device (VAD) implantation since 1990 and is the only hospital in the state offering this advanced technology. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of heart failure care, including transplant and VADs, in collaboration with a comprehensive cardiovascular team of subspecialized physicians, APPs, and dedicated support staff. Engage in teaching and research opportunities while enrolling patients in clinical trials. Contribute to program operations that monitor over 200 VAD patients at any given time and support a growing volume of up to 30 heart transplants per year.
