Overview The Department of Radiology at Children’s Mercy Kansas City and the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine (UMKC-SOM) seek a clinical / academic diagnostic pediatric radiologist to join a highly specialized academic Pediatric Radiology group. This position includes a collegial work environment with autonomous management of pediatric imaging that also includes teleradiology access to subspecialty academic pediatric radiologists at Children’s Mercy Hospital. The candidate should be CAQ-certified or CAQ-eligible in Pediatric Radiology. The position entails practice within all aspects of pediatric imaging with opportunity for subspecialty focus. Teaching duties include radiology residents from multiple residency programs as well as pediatric radiology fellows. Research opportunities also are available but not required. Academic appointments will be through the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine. Our program has a CAQ accredited pediatric radiology fellowship program. Our rapidly growing Radiology Department at Children's Mercy is comprised of 25 radiologists with subspecialty expertise in all areas of pediatric imaging.
