We are seeking a Board-Certifiedor Board-Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician for locum tenenscoverage in Richmond, Virginia. This role focuses on the management of high-riskpregnancies in both outpatient and inpatient settings, supporting a busy andwell-established MFM practice. Clinical Details AverageScheduled Patients per Day: 27 High-RiskPregnancy Volume: Approximately 95% NurseryLevel: Level III TraumaDesignation: N/A EMR: Epic, Viewpoint Key Responsibilities Providecomprehensive care for high-risk obstetric patients in office andinpatient settings Performconsultations, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing management of complexmaternal and fetal conditions Collaborateclosely with OB/GYNs, neonatology, nursing, and ancillary teams Participatein care planning for patients with maternal or fetal comorbidities Ensureaccurate and timely documentation in the EMR Required Skills &Procedures Amniocentesis ChorionicVillus Sampling (CVS) Cerclage(preferred) Managementof high-risk conditions including: Pre-eclampsia and hypertension Multiple gestations Fetal growth restriction Chromosomal, congenital, and geneticabnormalities Pre-term labor Thrombophilia Birth defects and complexmaternal/fetal comorbidities Experiencewith vaginal and cesarean deliveries in high-risk settings Qualifications BoardCertified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine Completionof an ACGME-accredited MFM fellowship ActiveVirginia medical license BLScertification AIUMcertification Richmond offers avibrant blend of historic charm, modern amenities, and outdoor recreation alongthe James River.
