Transportation Driver – Nursing Home 8a to 4p What You Will Do Safely transport residents to and from scheduled medical appointments, therapies, social outings, and other destinations as assigned Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle, using appropriate equipment (e.g., wheelchair lifts, gait belts) as needed Ensure all residents are properly secured in accordance with safety guidelines before transit begins Maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of the vehicle at all times Perform daily vehicle safety checks and report any maintenance issues promptly Coordinate with nursing, therapy, and social services to confirm transport schedules and special needs Maintain accurate transportation logs and documentation for each trip Exhibit patience, professionalism, and care when interacting with residents, family members, and staff Uphold all company policies and state/federal transportation regulations Duties as assigned What You Must Have Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL with passenger endorsement preferred but not required) Prior experience driving a passenger van, wheelchair-accessible vehicle, or bus (preferred) Basic knowledge of senior care needs, including safe transport of wheelchair users Ability to lift, bend, and assist residents with mobility needs High level of patience, reliability, and professionalism CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Benefits - Things we want you to know We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: 401(k) managed by Merrill Lynch DailyPay Health Insurance with Anthem Blue Cross or Cigna Dental, Life, Vision, and Disability Insurance Paid Time Off Career advancement opportunities! #J-18808-Ljbffr
