This role ensures new parts are programmed efficiently while continuously improving legacy programs to maximize machine utilization, quality, and throughput. What You'll Do Create CNC machining programs for parts and fixtures in collaboration with engineering and manufacturing Optimize existing programs to improve cycle times, accuracy, and consistency Support production by troubleshooting programming issues Interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications Ensure programs meet AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality requirements Provide manufacturability feedback to engineering teams Maintain organized program files and documentation Support continuous improvement initiatives Perform additional duties as assigned What You'll Need to Succeed Required Experience 3+ years of CNC programming experience Strong understanding of machining processes for mills and/or lathes Ability to interpret GD&T and engineering drawings Experience working within ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systems Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong organizational and planning ability Effective communication skills Software & Technical Skills Mastercam SolidWorks CAM Strong general computer proficiency Education High School Diploma or GED required Technical training in CNC machining, manufacturing, or design preferred About B & R Machine, Inc.
