Position Nocturnist Physician Hospitalist (West Virginia University Medicine) at Princeton Community Hospital, Princeton, WV. Overview West Virginia University Medicine is seeking multiple Nocturnist Physician Hospitalists to provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with disease and injuries of the human internal organ system and to establish preventive health practices for patients. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with diseases and injuries of the human internal organ system. Establish preventive health practices for patients. Qualifications M.D. or D.O. degree or foreign equivalent. Completed residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and a West Virginia Medical License (eligible). Board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. Team & Support The team currently has two full-time nocturnists covering almost all night shifts. The unit has a nearly full team with minimal use of locum tenens hospitalists and is supported by an experienced group of Advanced Practice Providers. The ICU is open and procedures are not required. Schedule Weekly hours: 40 hours. Shift: Exempt (United States of America). Location 122 12th Street, Princeton, West Virginia.
