Schedule Full Time, Days Position Overview We are opening a brand-new 50‑bed inpatient rehabilitation facility in 2026 under Centra Rehabilitation Hospital, a part of Lifepoint Health. We seek a Director of Therapy to lead the Therapy Services Department and support our mission to deliver compassionate, evidence‑based care. Responsibilities A Director of Therapy who excels in this role: Manages the Therapy Services Department staff and empowers them to embrace the organization’s mission and values. Observes and evaluates program effectiveness and recommends changes to interdisciplinary leadership and medical staff. Develops direct reports to excel in supervision and support within the interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary model. Works under the guidance of the CEO and in collaboration with medical staff and hospital leadership to lead the development of clinical programs (e.g., Brain Injury, Stroke, Amputee) with a strong focus on CARF certification. Evaluates department performance against budgets and benchmarks and takes appropriate action to work within staffing, outcomes, employee satisfaction, patient engagement and other key metrics. Serves as a key member of the Administrative Team and leads or participates in hospital committees. Collaborates with the Chief Nursing Officer, Nurse Manager, physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Assumes other duties as assigned. Qualifications Applicants should possess the following qualifications and skills: State licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech and Language Pathologist. Minimum of three years of previous therapy management experience. Proficiency in rehabilitation skills in a discipline‑specific area of PT, OT or ST, with the ability to treat patients and mentor staff as needed.
