Job DescriptionAdminister anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patientsProvide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases, ensuring proper management of neurological status pre- and post-procedurePerform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required by surgical proceduresManage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout the surgical processDeliver anesthesia under direct supervision in a collaborative environment with anesthesiologists and surgical teamsMaintain continuous patient monitoring throughout the perioperative phase (pre-op, intra-op, and post-op)Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and anesthesia recordsEnsure compliance with hospital policies, procedural protocols, and safety standardsWork four (4) 10-hour shifts per weekNo on-call duties required (strictly scheduled shifts)Operate within a hospital-based setting designated as a Level II Trauma CenterContribute to a daily volume of approximately 50 surgical casesWork alongside a team in multiple operating rooms, with rotating assignments based on needRespond to emergencies and provide airway management, including intubation if needed
