Seeking BE/BC Breast Surgeon/Surgical Oncologist to join an established hospital-based practice with one other Breast Surgeon who is open to mentoring. Physician must be fellowship trained in Surgical Oncology. Merit Health Woman’s Hospital is known as a women’s destination center. Services include but are not limited to: Breast surgery, Plastic Surgery, GYN, OB deliveries. The hospital offers a special environment with state of the art technology. Merit Health Woman’s is the only facility in Mississippi offering Intraoperative Radiation Therapy, allowing cancer removal and radiation treatment simultaneously, thereby reducing or eliminating additional radiation treatments. KUBTEC, Digital Mammography, ABUS and stereotactic biopsies are available services. We are recruiting a physician with an excellent work ethic and a desire to learn and grow with this thriving practice, which operates in the 99th percentile for patient and surgical load. Currently one surgeon and two APPs manage breast surgery cases.
