Position Overview We are looking for a Sr. Regulatory Toxicologist to join our team in a hybrid role based in Marysville, Ohio. The successful candidate will provide chemical toxicology assessments and guidance to ensure product safety and compliance with North American regulatory requirements, while supporting the corporate chemical sustainability program. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive toxicological risk assessments for raw materials and products using in vitro, in vivo, and in silico modeling to meet North American safety standards (e.g., CPSC, EPA, PMRA). Develop and deliver training programs on sustainable chemical management for internal stakeholders. Provide expert toxicological guidance to R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and regulatory affairs teams and collaborate on safety initiatives. Implement and manage chemical sustainability program, identifying safer alternative materials and strategies to reduce or eliminate hazardous substances. Develop and execute product safety testing strategies to support labeling and hazard communication standards and prepare scientific toxicological dossiers for regulatory submissions. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Toxicology, Pharmacology, or Environmental Health. Minimum 5 years of experience in toxicology, focusing on regulatory toxicology, risk assessment, or green chemistry within a chemical or consumer products company. In-depth knowledge of North American hazard communication (GHS, CPSC, EPA, OSHA, PMRA) and green chemistry principles. Ability to interpret complex scientific data and toxicology studies. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Proficiency with toxicology databases and software. Knowledge of life cycle assessment (LCA) principles and methodologies for assessing chemical alternatives. Desired Board Certification in Toxicology (DABT) or ability to sit for the exam within 5 years. Demonstrated success managing raw materials and product sustainability programs; experience in chemical manufacturing or consumer goods. Compensation The starting budgeted pay range for this role is $87,600.00 - $103,100.00 per year. The role is also incentive eligible under our corporate bonus programs.
