Responsibilities Pursue independent and specialized research training and experience under the guidance of a scientific mentor in the Division of General Internal Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine. Collaborate with Principal Investigators (PIs) on research investigating topics related to general internal medicine, dissemination and implementation science, and/or economic evaluation. Prepare oral presentations for national and international scientific conferences, workshops, and seminars. Write and submit manuscripts for publication in peer‑reviewed journals. Seek opportunities for external funding and support development of research proposals for submission. Participate as appropriate in new research grant submissions. Develop projects, collect data, and conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis in new research projects designed as pilot work for new grant submissions. Participate in bi‑monthly research team meetings to coordinate ongoing and new research projects. Train and oversee students; additional duties may be assigned based on needs of ongoing and new research projects.
